Dr. Ferenz played four years of intercollegiate baseball while attending Hofstra University. He went to medical school and served his orthopaedic residency at SUNY-Downstate / Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY Dr. Ferenz then completed a hand and microsurgical fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. This included clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. He presented to the American Association of Hand Surgeons among other specialty societies. While a hand fellow, Dr. Ferenz was intimately involved in developing a new procedure for pain relief after wrist surgery. At the present time, Dr. Ferenz continues to enjoy athletic activities, and along with his partners, covers many local sports teams. Dr. Ferenz covered the AVP-Pro Volleyball circuit at the Jersey shore. |
