What are Overuse Injuries?
"Overuse injuries" are a common condition caused by repetitive activity or trauma.
Symptoms can include tendonitis, bursitis, stress fractures, muscle soreness, shin splints, tennis elbow, and others. While most of these conditions can be treated without surgery, orthopaedic evaluation may be necessary if non-surgical treatments like anti-inflammatory medications, rest, ice, and time do not relieve the pain.
Our specialists provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and education to help patients recover from overuse injuries. With a focus on non-surgical options, we work with patients to develop customized treatment plans that address their individual needs and goals. Our goal is to get patients back to their favorite activities as quickly and safely as possible.
